IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION - A PASTOR AND FETISH PRIEST IN DILEMMA

 GETTING FOCUSED AND STABLE

Scripture Reading: Joshua 24:15
A man of God with evangelical orientation lived in a city on a mountain. The testimonies given by his converts suggested that he was positively impacting their lives. Many lost souls were saved through his ministry. His zeal and passion for evangelism took him to the next town which was also on another mountain, thus the two towns are separated by a valley.
One day, the man of God picked his Bible and bicycle and departed for the other city for witnessing. He had a lot of souls won through house to house approach. The last house he visited was for a fetish priest. He preached to the fetish priest boldly. The fetish priest decided to surrender to Jesus. Then some visitors came to the house with much provision, money and a cow as thank giving to the gods. The man of God said in his heart, he will come to the fetish priest for some powers so he can also get money and provision.
That night, the F. priest packed all his idols and images, tied it to his bicycle and set off towards the man of God’s town to get it burnt by the pastor. The pastor also picked his bible and bicycle and heading towards the F. priest town for magical power. In the valley, the pastor and the F. priest collided and each of them died instantly. Who do you think will make it to heaven?
Because of probably hardships, the pastor could not hold unto his faith. A PASTOR AND A FETISH PRIEST IN THE VALLEY OF DECISIONA PASTOR AND A FETISH PRIEST IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION He could no longer focus on his eternal reward but turned towards cult. His roots were weaker and could not stand the little hardships in life. He could not trust the LORD with all his heart like the three Hebrew boys who said we don’t care dying in this fire even if our God saves us not.
Key Verse: Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
